Marley House was converted into a number of individual and unique private properties in the late 1990s. This huge ceiling rose was recreated from peices of the original ceiling centre to maintain the charm of the property and keep original features and fittings. The oak beams in the property had split and after consultation with a structural engineer, conservation officer and English Heritage we supported the existing timbers with new steel that had to be deflected to the existing shape of the ceiling as we were not allowed to remove any existing fabric from the building.
